This is the best choice to get to Lake Atitlan because it's secure, comfort and, you can book before you arrive in Guatemala. Some shuttles can pick up at your hotel or La Aurora International Airport

The price is between 70$ and 60$ per person for a shared shuttle.

Renting a Car

You can rent a car before you arrive in Guatemala. Use Google Maps or Waze. We suggest to pay for coverage and protection.

By Chicken Bus

Lake Atitlan is in Panajachel department. There are buses that go to Panajachel directly. You can take a bus in the principal bus station. If you are in Guatemala you can take in the Roosevelt street.

This options is cheapest but it's the most difficult option. If you are in Guatemala City you can take the chicken bus in Roosevelt street.
